Cook Off Rules

​

​One important change in scoring criteria!  There will be no score for presentation this year, only flavor!

​

  1. ALL COOKING MUST BE DONE WITH PROPANE AND BUTANE COOKERS

  2. CHILI MUST CONTAIN AT LEAST 5 LBS OF BEEF. (NO WILD GAME)

  3. THE COURSE WILL OPEN @ 9:00 (NO EARLY BIRDS)

  4. RV’S AND CAMPER TRAILERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED

  5. SELLING OF ANY ENTRYS ON THE PREMISE IS PROHIBITED

  6. THE HEAD COOK IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THEIR TEAM AND GUESTS

  7. WE ASK THAT YOU CLEAN UP YOUR MESS BEFORE LEAVING

  8. BRING A TARP OR CANOPY IF IT’S RAINING AS THAT WILL NOT STOP THE EVENT

  9. THE TURN IN FOR JUDGING TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

    1. BLOODY MARY’S:                   11:30

    2. MARGARITAS:                         1:00

    3. BEANS:                                     2:30

    4. CHILI:                                       4:00

  10. ENTRY FEE FOR EACH CATEGORY IS $25.00.  YOU MAY ENTER AS MANY CATAGORIES AS YOU WISH.

  11. CASH PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PLACE FINISHERS IN EACH CATEGORY.  THE AMOUNT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES

 

 

BEING THAT THIS IS OUR SECOND GO AT HOSTING THIS TYPE OF EVENT, WE ASK FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL TIME.  WE WILL BE SELLING VARIOUS RAFFLE CHANCES AND HOPE TO GET SOME OF YOU ON THE COURSE.  MAYBE IT’S BEEN A WHILE SINCE SOME OF YOU HAVE PLAYED WHILE OTHERS MAY HAVE NEVER PICKED UP A CLUB IN THEIR LIFE.  WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GIVE IT A SHOT.  CARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO RENT BY THE HOUR IF YOU SIMPLY WANT TO CHECK OUT THE COURSE.  HOWEVER, WE ASK THAT YOU RESPECT THOSE WHO ARE PLAYING.
